Alestorm - Hellfest 2022 - @ARTE Concert

Aye aye captain! The Alestorm pirates board the Hellfest. In their treasure chest? Seventh Rum Of A Seventh Rum, their new album.

Alestorm brings the cup to metal music! Formerly known as Battleheart, the Scots have been concocting a mind-blowing "Bacon Powered Pirate Core" since 2004. We have to admit that this amazing mix of (d)astonishing folk metal and power metal cooked in a smokehouse hits the bull's eye. Epic and exhilarating, the songs of Alestorm address all the themes dear to piracy. Mean by that buccaneers, sea monsters, naval battles, rum and pretty women... Hymns that strike the heart! Unpretentious music that gives enough courage to tickle one or two krakens...

It was during the 2015 edition of Hellfest that we encountered the drunken metal of Alestorm for the first time. We find them again seven years later to dive headlong into their latest discographic adventures: No Grave But The Sea (2017), Curse of the Crystal Coconut (2020) and Seventh Rum Of A Seventh Rum (which will be released only a week after this Clisson date).
