Formula 1’s second pre-season test kicks off in Bahrain on Thursday and offers the 10 teams their final opportunity to fettle their cars ahead of the first race of the season.
Although the test starts after a gap of just 12 days since Barcelona, every team will have some new parts and there’s a possibility that we will see some big changes to some of the cars.
But will these changes be profound enough to be considered a b-spec, or even perhaps a new car?
With a rapid rate of improvement expected from these brand new cars, the Bahrain test will be the first step in a development war that will rage throughout the season.
So what teams can we expect to make the biggest changes?
You can follow all the action from the Bahrain test on The Race’s live hub. Not only will you have the latest in terms of lap times and images, but also news and insight from our F1 team at the circuit both trackside and in the paddock.
