The Albert Park Circuit is finally ready!
Ready to welcome F1® back to Melbourne. Ready for the new-spec 2022 cars and ready to open its gates to fans as we celebrate the return of live racing back to Australian shores.
While the full circuit build takes place from January to April, the final phase of the circuit modifications has been completed.
Since the Australian's Grand Prix's Melbourne debut in 1996, the surface of the circuit has remained relatively untouched but ahead of a new era in F1®, the entire circuit has been re-surfaced
On paper, the changes promise an improved racing spectacle and now, its over to the drivers.
In the final episode of our Track Modification series, we hear from some of the current grid including; Daniel Ricciardo, George Russell, Carlos Sainz, Valtteri Bottas and Pierre Gasly, all of whom eagerly await the return of the Australian Grand Prix.
