Hypercar Insanity has RETURNED! Found the Exclusive Lamborghini Aventador J

I found the unicorn, the one-of-one Lamborghini Aventador J! It's hypercar insanity for the Doerr Group Day at the Hockenheimring where we are spoiled to have 9 Bugattis, 5 Paganis, Speedtail, Senna LM and so much more to take in. With an opportunity as well to get out on the Grand Prix track in my Ford GT, car days can't really get much better!

I drove over to Germany in my Ford GT to come straight to Hockenheim to join the Doerr Group Day, with an opportunity to take in some incredible cars on display and driving, as well as some laps myself on another famous circuit. However, even my high expectations were shattered by the unreal line-up and number of amazing cars present.

With the Doerr Group brands making a strong presence it starts with Bugatti showing all of the new Chiron Pur Sport and Chiron Super Sport 300+ as well as the Veyron Super Sport WRE and Vitesse WRC record breaking models, as well as the Chiron Sport on track. Next up comes McLaren with the first German customer Speedtail, a Senna LM, Senna GTR, P1 GTR, new 765LT and McLaren GT. Heading via the Dallara Stradale we go to Pagani with the Zonda HP Barchetta, Zonda Revolucion, Huayra Imola, Huayra Roadster BC and Huayra Roadster, but then we get to Lamborghini with the Aventador J...

The Lamborghini Aventador J was presented at the Geneva Motorshow in March 2012, where I was there myself for the reveal and will never forget the excitement of seeing this crazy one-off 'concept' show car. Based on the Aventador LP700-4 it chopped away the roof for an open cabin, and even open engine bay, but initially Lamborghini had not intended to sell it. As it happens a customer of the Doerr Group came forward to make the purchase and now comes an opportunity to be re-united with it over 8 years later!

In addition to the display cars, we also have the SLR Stirling Moss, a McLaren P1, two more Bugatti Chirons and a Veyron, and so many supercars it's hard to know where to look. With many taking in some track time, for me it's also a chance to add another circuit to my Ford GT's story. Having been around Goodwood, Silverstone, Nurburgring GP, Nordschleife, Road Atlanta, Palm Beach Raceway and the Monaco F1, now Hockenheimring joins that list - and it won't end there.

A huge thanks goes to the Doerr Group for the opportunity to join this brilliant day, certainly setting a trend for the future of car events with intimate access to all of the cars and people. Hypercar insanity was simply the only way to describe an event with approximately 25 'hypercars' present, something the world hasn't seen this year.
