Although it seems like a movie trailer, this video looks like it's the lead up to the announcement of a new Mortal Kombat game at E3 next week.  Looks like an interesting change of direction for the game, could be worth checking out.

Apparently Jeri Ryan (7 or 9 in Star Trek Voyager, and also Sonya Blade in the above movie clip) posted the following on her twitter account:

Well, hope it works, the trailer looks good and I'd definitely watch that movie :)
