New TV series to be shown on NBC, replacing Heroes as their 'super hero' series.
Unlike Heroes though, The Cape is much more of a direct super hero series. The story follows a cop that is framed for a murder. hunted down and believed to be dead. In secret, he trains himself to become the hero from his son's favourite comic, The Cape.

Reminds me some of something between Assassins Creed and Batman. Though I get the feeling it would make a great film instead of a TV series.
