You may have heard of the anti-XFactor campaign that is underway in order to promote good music instead of reality show kareoke!
The campaign is aiming to get Rage Against The Machines classic song, Killing In The Name, as the Christmas No.1 for this year isntead of us having another year with an XFactor No.1.
Note, this isn't about having a shot at Sony, or any particular company (Sony sell RATM as well), it's about making the record companies pay attention to people that want more good music and not recycled pop.
the BBC have been giving the campaign some coverage, even reporting the RATM is currently in the lead, however the CD single for XFactor is out tomorrow and this will prompt a lot of sales

You can get the single on Amazon for 29p at the moment (Amazon 'purchase' the track for 40p, so it counts towards the charts)
