Hey Pal,

Now animation studio Laika, the group who did last year’s eye-popping Coraline, has announced that they’re bailing out of computer-animated features altogether. From this we can say that now it’s time for stop motion not the older computer animation with pencil and clay. What u say?

I say that there will be plenty of room for both.  CGI has great flexibility in what can be produced, while stop motion has a particular charm to it that CGI struggles to reproduce.
