An episode of a cartoon form the 90s that was created by Seth MacFarlane (creator of Family Guy).  The cartoon is called Larry & Steve and you should see the obvious first attempts at several of the characters that eventually made it into Family Guy

I'll need to check that out, I've been hearing about Cavalcade of Comedy but have never actually seen it (it's definitely unmistakable Seth!)
