Combining two types of movie, alien invasion movies and monster movie, Monsters Vs Aliens is a fairly unique looking movie about a group of 'monsters' tasked by the US government to fend off an invading alien. Looks like this could be quite funny, with the mix of the 2 genres and the 50s style setting it should certainly stand out from the other CGI movies coming out.

Do anyone notice the references to Mars attacks and Independence Day? Either way I want to see it ^^
