This game has hit the shelves already, I've been hearing that it is great (I'm personally holding on for Rock Band 2!)

A few adverts for the game have been on TV and are up on YouTube just now, with the theme of the adverts being a scene from Risky Business (starring Tom Cruise, go here to see the scene)

The first is pretty amusing (love the bit with Tony Hawk rolling on), featuring 4 sports stars:

The second is pretty good, with Heidi Klum jumping around 'unleashing her inner rock star'

The third features Heidi Klum as well and is probably the best of the bunch (it has also been referred to as the Directors Cut of the second advert... you'll see why)

Rock Band looks too pop-focussed for my liking. Guitar Hero is amazing :D

Too pop focused? I don't know what you're referring to, there is a lot of metal, classic rock and early punk, certainly not pop focused at all!

lol. well i've played them both and i really like rock band, but i think the guitar hero guitar is easier to use. i had a hard time with the strummer...though it might have had a drink spilled on it at some point and therefore a bit hard to move as fast as i'd like. i don't know. but i think its more fun overall.
