Could it be movie karma coming back to haunt Hayden Christensen? Possessing the unusual ability to teleport himself to where ever he wants. After years of living the good life, he eventually meets someone else with the same ability and finds out that he is far from unique and he is now a target for a group that wants to destroy them.
The Karma part? Well, Samuel L. Jackson (sporting a rather cool look) happens to be one of the hunters and takes to the hunt with a vengance (it's almost like Hayden wronged him in another life....)

Full trailer is now up giving some more of the story in the film, due for a February release, we could be in for a good start to the 2008 movie year with this, Cloverfield and I Am Legend.

Saw this a week or so ago. Not too bad, but plenty of room for improvement. I like the idea and thankfully it left things open for a larger story to take place, so if they take that chance, hopefully they will pay more attention to this ones short comings!

I saw this the day it came out, I disliked it as there was (In the words of Stevie) "plenty of room for improvement", I liked the general idea and it really gripped me, but I felt the story was far to rushed and the transition from him being a young teen to an adult to fighting an enemy was to fast. I think they should have added about 20 minutes to develop the story line a bit more.

Though having said that, the action was quite good and the acting was also quite good.

I also like how it tidy ended, I'm not expecting a number 2 though. Maybe a similar story line in another scenario?

indeed... decent premise... just not really explored in great depth (wow, I just sounded like a movie critic ;) I enjoyed the film though, would like to see a 2nd one, but highly doubt it.

If it had more of an in depth version it would be far more worth it :)

They could probably drop Hayden as well, he's not really good at carrying the lead role. The other characters were more interesting, particularly Samuel L Jackson and the other Jumper. However, Hayden's character does seem to be woven in to any future story direction they are likely to take.
