Although I was a bit disappointed with the first film, the teaser that has poped up for the sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer is looking pretty good. The main problem with the first film wasn't the characters, it was the lack of major action events but it looks like they have learned form the first film, and with the character development already taken care of they are now ready for some really super hero action!

Very bold of them to show one continuous sequence instead of the usually barrage of short clips.

Saw this last night, was quite an enjoyable film.

Plenty more action than the first film with a good bit of humour thrown in there as well, the result is entertainment! The Silver Surfer himself is a good character, as the title would suggest, he plays a pretty significant role in the film, though doesn't play the typical super-villan that these movies tend to have - will be interesting to see him in the spin off SS movie.

i really liked the silver surfer himself but i was so-so about the movie as a whole. i thought it was a lot cheesier than the first.

this one is much better than the first film (which wasn't really that bad, just didn't have enough action).
