that is so shocking. i don't know why i'm surprised though. i remember the reaction when it was announced bush had won AGAIN. everyone gave a collective "what?!" still, i can't believe the government would stoop so low. i mean i figure its probably right since everyone and their mother went out and voted for kerry.
there was also this huge campaign to get all the young voters out since they were generally anti-bush, but we were surprised to hear that the percentage of young voters was the same as previous years. kinda makes you think maybe they DID go. they just weren't counted.

i think people too often ignore the advice of our founding fathers. George Washington himself said that we need to avoid political parties

yeah i know. today i saw one against the republicans but i could figure out who sponsored it till the very end when i read that disclaimer crap at the bottom of the screen. they kept talking about how this guy had "gone washington" and then showed him shaking hands with bush. i laughed so hard. i mean, i know what they're saying, but it was said in such a dramatic way it made me chuckle. but yeah shoot him and all that. (jk don't do him any HARM) shaking hands with bush...ick!
(and you never heard from me again. i was taken away by the special forces of the government.)
you know, people should be AFRAID to speak out against their government. how ridiculous.
