James Bond returns, this time played by Daniel Craig. Casino Royale is a remake of the original James Bond story (originally made under a different licence agreement, so not part of the main line of Bond films). The rumours are that this Bond is gritty and much more realistic than recent Bond movies, though the trailer certainly looks to be all action. Hopefully this take on James Bond should work well, be good to have a change of pace from the way the latest films have been. http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=trailer&id=1808476050&intl=us

I think this looks hopeful, I've done a bit of foruming on this film and most people shunned it before anyinfomation about the new movie. As far as i can see it looks all good one liners and sweet effects (The perfect 007 recipe). Full On Design

they shunned it i think right away because they didn't like who was chosen to play bond. i can't really get into these films though so it makes no difference to me. still, looking at him, i'm not sure i would like him either...but i'll with hold judgement

I want to see the movie to see if it's good or not. I have heard the new bond can't drive manually or fire a gun (Could be rumours tough). Full On Design

I think he looks pretty hard for James Bond... less suave... so cool... i never did like Roger Moores ladys man look. The harder the better. This film season is shaping up to be a great hero one :)

Gah, I'm going to have no money at this rate LOL. I would like to see a 50 Cent spoof of 007, no idea why..would be very funny. Anyway, the movie is looking good, i've been Yahooing it over the web and it seems to be getting mixed previews. Full On Design

New trail is online over at Apple. This is looking really good in my opinion, it's good to see a change of direction after the more 'action movie' style of the Brosnan movies - not that there appears to be any shortage of action in this film, the tone is just a bit different. http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/casinoroyale/trailer1a

guess us Brits are too sophisticated for you You really should try watching the early ones, classic films. Although Bond himself has changed over time, each 'set' of movies have their own qualities that make them special.

Saw this at the weekend, was very good. Gives a more down to earth and dirty than previous bonds, but it works well.
Good to see how Bond became 007, from what I've read the next few films are going to expand on his experiences in this film.

I saw this over the weekend... I must say, it was a good film. Definitely different from the more recent flicks... which is a plus. Its a much more dark and realistic bond I felt, definitely a hard killer... but still has the charm to get the girls... he had some great one liners, but it wasn't cheesy... just enough to make you chuckle.
All in all, I really liked the film. He is a good bond... no matter what the people say :)

Indeed... great movie... aaaand the title theme was a great song too... brought to us from the lead singer of Audioslave I believe, Chris Cornell . Its called "You know My Name". Sounded very James Bondy and also just a good song all round. I would upload it... but somehow I think stevie would take it down ;) hehe...you'll have to fork out your own buck.
