then its not really about the sports anymore is it? its about the entertainment. this is how it is with american football. they feel they're providing an entertainment for the people and instead of making a reasonable amount they make what a movie star would make for a film. but if you think about it, a movie star can work their whole life, but a sports star only has a small window of opportunity. plus there is the risk of injury cutting the career short. so thats how they rationalize it. whatever, the only sport i really like is soccer (football to you folk) and that is rarely shown.
