Swoj.com has now moved onto a new server at a new hosting company.

Over the next week I'll be starting to add back up more of the site to return it to what it was. Once things get going again, work will begin on the new version of the site.

For now, why not have a look over the rest of the forum

Areas covered in the forum include:
Movies, TV and Music
Games
Humour
Web Development

You can also check out the forum area that covered discussion on all the files that you could find on this site, many of the threads will also provide alternative links to find many of the files. Check it out here

You can also sign up for the forum (free of course) and contribute to the on going discussions, you can do that by following this link

Soo theres a new site? Is this one gonna get shut down or something? Also does this mean we have to start out post counters from the begging AGAIN?

no, will keep this forum (for a while anyway)
If I do end up replacing the forum, I'll do what I can to make sure that people retain their 'status' items :)

I'm actually wanting to add something more advanced than just a post count, an overall status that will apply to the whole site, some kind of points system maybe. Posts will count for points, however I might add post voting, so that other members can score any post on the forum, allowing useful posts to be worth more than spam (eg. posting 1000 low rated posts will be worth less than posting 500 highly rated posts). Members with higher rankings might have more influential scoring abilities.
Other points will be available for other activities on the site, so it won't just be reserved for forum users.

at least that's the plan :)

So like a reputation sytem? people vote on the quality of your posts which either gains or loses you reputation. The higher your reputation the more its worth. E.g someone with a low reputation when the give someone plus rep its worth 2 or 3 points but someone with high rep its worth about 8 or 9
