Anthrax rocked last week, this week it was Fear Factory's turn! At the QMU in Glasgow, another great gig with some classic songs :) As we all went in, the bouncers were warning people that mosh-pits were not allowed.... odd that we didn't see the bouncers try to stop then once they actually started! ;) Check out the Fear Factory website http://www.fearfactory.com/ - not many heavy metal bands with their own online gaming community!

Support bands were not so great, first band just didn't get me much, the second band were ok, however they appeared odd. The were doing really macho speed metal (Napalm Death type stuff) but the sing pranced about the stage like Jarvis Cocker! Fear Factory really were fantastic though, unfortunately they finished on two very slow songs, very unusual, thought they would have gone out with a bang! Still, well worth seeing

Who were the support? FF aren't playing Cardiff (or at least weren't when I last checked), so am not going to be able to see them any time soon... Still Slipknot and Slayer, and Blink 182 coming up later in the year. Edit: and Dropkick Murphys aren't playing Cardiff either, which is really pissing me off... cause they are also playing Glasgow!!! GRAAARRGH.

I missed the Dropkicks this time around. Saw them last year, they were great.
Support for FF were Johny Truant ( the Jarvis Cocker one) and Man Must Die (as far as I could tell, they are a Glasgow band).
Slayer and Slipknot... can't wait for that one! hopefully that will be at the Barrowlands and not the SECC

they played 3 or 4 tracks from Archetype. The opened the gig with the first two tracks. Don't think they played anything from Concrete, though could be wrong there. Martyr was explosive!!
