I would say that the font in the main section is too pale, makes it a little hard to read what is there. Sticking with a standard black would probably be better.
The pale thing could be applied to the menu as well, unless you look closely it's not exactly obvious that it is a menu.
Other than that, I do like the menu idea.

Pro:-yeah,,it's not a bad site. i'd say it's really creative.
Con:-Steviepunk is right, the menu is kinda odd. (but cool).
