Dear honored Forum Admin,
I'm a Snitzforum Admin by myself and I'm trying to get more Smilies (than the standard smilies) to my forum (like you did).
Which MODs do I need?
But my problem: i'm using a german translated Snitzforum.
Please give me a hint what I could do or which files I'ld have to upgrade!
Thx a lot.

Ok, well I am not the admin but I think I know how. Basically, there will be a folder in the forum root directory containing the images for smilies. Now in here you will need to just add the extra smilies you want.
I use PHP forums so they are set out slightly different. But I would guess that you go to the admin control pannel and add them trhough there. Not sure swoj will help

Hi, unfortunately it is not as straigh forward as just adding smilies to a folder I believe the MOD you require is called Smilie Manager, though I am not 100% sure about that. I used the complied Server Hacker forum code, this included the Smilie Manager and many other MODs as standard. Anyway, the smilie manager will allow you to add and modify all the smilies you want in the admin section, you specify the UBB code used and the image that it refers to. Also has the nice feaure of allowing users to customise their own smilie list. Try this: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=17899hope that is helpful.

Unfortunately not! I tried just copying the new gifs but the Snitz forum did not really recognize them. So I think, that I have to change some asp-files also. Again - if any admin could help me ... please

This may sound really obvious but make sure you actually put the images online and not just local, type in the url of the image, example: http://www.yoursite.com/forum/images/newimage.gifIf this doesn't work then I don't know, as I said I use PHP forums. Started to write my own and it takes a long time!
