this is a toughie. who's the toughest videogame character ever, and why. plus you gotta say why he would beat the previous one. remember special powers etc. and weaknesses.

Not sure who Auron is but, as my first suggestion I think I would have to say Gandalf from the Lord of the Ring games!

He's isn't a D&D wizard with +3 staff of casting... no, no, no... Gandalf is tough as hell, can wield a sword like he was born with it and can take down a squad of Orcs with out even having to cast a spell! Not to mention when he does get jiggy with the magic.. It only took him a fraction of a second to disarm Aragorn, Legolas and Gimmly, he beat off 9 ring wraiths and their dragons. One tough wizard!

well take a look at Aurons sword. now, because of ff10s sphere grid system, Auron is capable of all kinds of magic. his overdrive abilities also kick some serious a$$, and just take a look at that sword. did i mention the sword yet?
