 bleach a recently hit anime (which came around naruto, no wait, just a year or two later...but very great) and so far in the past just 2 years they have made 105 episodes and one bleach animated film feature)

 this is the front cover of the manga...very great...by the way if you want to know what this anime is about, its all about a normal high school student (typical), that can see ghoust (hmmm), then stumbles across something or someone known as a deathgod which normal people cant see...after encotouring this deathgod (aka shinigaimi), at the same time, a hollow (ghoust attacks his family), since he is human he was unable to protect such a family, and so the shinigaimi tried to protct them for him, but ends wounded in the fight so the shinigami gives her powers to him.. and so the adventure of slaying bad ghoust begins...the start is good but you get into 20 episodes, it does tend to take your breath away, and so you crave more to find out what happens (though its your usual superhero story)...this anime and manga is so good, that they converted so far 20 episodes and 15 manga books in english...after such a speech i rest my case...-Manga SAjman

as you can see, ive been watching it on youtube, since i dont have the toonami to watch it on and secondly i dont really like the english ones and the english ones really cut alot out, such as a episodes and action, since '4kids' is behind it...this adventure is basically about a pirate (luffy-one with the straw hat) who wants to become pirate king, and to find the biggest and greatest legendary treasure of all, 'one piece!', and thats where the title gets its name...and to do so this pirate has to do more than set sail, he has to beat the toughest of the toughest in the process and at the same time, build an ultimate sea crew...its great, and what i say summarises it...see it for yourself...to me its the next best thing to pirates of the carribean (and actually better...its just people would rather prefer orlando, johnny and keira)...arrrr
...and to finish, the episdoes have sprawled into so far (and counting) 288 episodes...and 43manga books (which are roughly 200 pages each, without adverts inserted), and counting...so far 15 books have been converted and 106 episodes have turned english, but they have cut alot out...anyways, i leave my count down here for now...until we all have reflected on em...-Manga SAjman

The only anime shows I felt were worth watching was Full Metal Alchemist and Death Note.

My favorite series is easily Cowboy Bebop, but I also like alot of other series, Outlaw Star has some good moments, Record of Lodoss War is very good, Berserk is superb, and I have always had a soft spot for Yu Yu Hakusho. And also Shin Chan.
As far as movies go I like Akira, Green Legend Ran, Vampire Hunter D and it's Sequel, and many others.
And good manga I like are Naruto (even if you dislike the anime series, the manga is very good), GetBackers, Full Metal Alchemist, Vagabond, which is BEAUTIFUL, and Crayon Shin Chan, which is so funny, seriously, one of the funniest things ever.
Well now that I have explained my dorkiness I will crawl back into the hole from whence I came.

Either way... I mean I'm kind of just satisfied that I got to use the word "whence" in a sentence.

Holy crap "Whence" is a word? and my english teacher says I make up words.
