oh my god it took me forever to find this thing! but i had a guestion and i didn't feel like creating a new thread. ok so here's my question, it's for stevie.
ok so you go and create your page and everything and put it out on the net...and then what? how do people find out about it? how does it get so widespread? i mean, it's made it all over the world.
i'm not asking cuz i'm planning on doing it (i'm way too lazy to keep up with it), i was just wondering how it got to where it was.

people found it because the site indexed well on the search engines, particularly for things like the stickmen movies. This resulted in a lot of people finding the site that way. At other times over the years, visitors have come to the site as a result of me contributing on other sites with a courtesy link back to swoj.com. However, once people came to the site via the search engines, I then got a lot of people posting links to the site on other discussion forums, emailing their friends and similar. Finally, people come back to see new content (which I don't always have time for  ) Hope that answers your question
