I can get around 600 in snake then bomb out.
Is there a trick to avoiding the tail for long enough to get near or over 1000??

I would kindly give you hints for snake but I don't know and thus cannot give you any hints...  except keep to the sides; that way your tail won't get in the way  (so much  ((just don't trap urself))  Duuurgh!)will that help? < oh, I am such an  !>

I find the best way to avoid your tail once you've got a long snake (no rude comments please!) is to be patient when going for the red things... I take a route like the following when it is very long (no laughing!!)...

and slowly just work my way around the arena. That way you can pretty much cover it all... hope that helps!!!
editted in: ok, the formatting on the posted reply is different to how it looks when I'm typing it, so basically what I've drawn above doesn't fecking look right!!!! Will try and fix!
editted in part 2: have now fixed it a little. Ignore the '.' as they are just there to make the formatting of the lines look better.
