As I go through the redesign of Swoj.com, I'm planning on writing a series of articles on web design and HTML. Hopefully they will be useful to you

I've been on holiday, so not yet.

1st one will be about sorting out the ideas (I think) so that you actually know what you want to achieve with the site, second one will probably be more HTML orientated.

bit of a contradiction there! Frontpage, Good Editor.
Unless they have made some serious improvements, I don't think so!

Problem with Frontpage is that is very geared towards Internet Explorer, uses IE specific features in the layout and sometime results in pages that look terrible in Netscape or Opera (and no doubt others as well). Add to that the problem that most WYSIWYG editors have - they produce shocking HTML at times!

While editors like that can be useful for getting started, if you want to create really good (and HTML legal) webpages, you will often need to get under the bonnet (so to speak) and actually edit the code yourself.

OMG! Swoj! When do you have the time for that? You seem so busy already.

They do already have a few books out about HTML. I bought one myself that seems rather easy to comprehend. But...you should wait and buys Swoj's book!
