The big cinema movie release of the Japanese classic manga Astro Boy (for more information on Astro Boy, have a look at the Astro Boy Wiki article) will be with us towards the end of the year in October.  With an initial teaser and a trailer now online, this CGI movie is looking very good. Visually the animation seems to be very good, with the characters having a bit of a pixar-like feel to them (well, I think so anyway!).   The trailer does indicate at all the right elements for an animated movie, adventure, action and humour (also cute side characters, but I don't really see that as being essential ) and with so many years of source material to work from I think they really should come up with something pretty good.
