Up there as one of the most anticipated movies, the JJ Abrams remake of Star Trek is getting closer.  It's been said that they are going for more of a Star Wars vibe with this film, with the future anything but perfect (as are the crew) and it certainly looks like it's going to take more than inverting the polarity to get them out the problems they'll be encountering.   The crew are tougher, the future looks rough, even Spock looks prone a touch of anger (and if my eyes don't deceive me, it also looks like Kirk might be getting it on with Uhura!)
