If you had purchased £1000 of Northern Rock shares one year ago it
would now be worth £4.95, with HBOS, earlier this week your £1000 would
have been worth £16.50, £1000 invested in XL Leisure would now be worth
less than £5, but if you bought £1000 worth of Tennents Lager one year
ago, drank it all, then took the empty cans to an aluminium re-cycling
plant, you would get £21.40

That is some good advice their, I might get me some Aluminium cans and see how much I can earn.
Oh did you guys hear the story about the guy who had got a job abroad, so he flew by XL and could not get to his flight (as it was cancelled). However he then took the euro tunnel and that failed. He finally got to his job (at lemmans bros) to find they had gone bust. I not sure how true that as (considering i got it from a tv show) but I do know someone who started on lemmans bros on the day they went bust.
