Anyone played this? I just got into it... although Im not the biggest heavy metal/hard rock music fan, this game is great fun.. nothings more satisfying than feeling like your actually playing a classic like freebird (without actually playing a real guitar).

This is a great game, Stevie, you'ld definitely like this one... got some great songs I've seen on your grindar too.

Heck... Ive just realised all I ever comment on these forums are computer games and movies... <sigh> I have no life

I fail to spot a problem with that!

The game does look interesting, shame you have to buy the whole guitar as well, makes it a bit pricey :(

I play guitar so being a musical snob that I am I have decided never to touch one of those guitar hero thingies.

hehe... but it allows us unskilled baffoons the experience of pulling off the perfect solo... without the actual bleeding fingers.. its very satisfying :)

I play guitar but I didn't play for a few weeks and the callouses went so it hurts again dod gamnit! Lol, I played this today on Adam's PS2 and it was good but I preferred GH1. I knew more of the songs so I could play better (I'm not so keen on challenges) and the characters were better.

I actually got GH3 and 2 this year. Although most people seem to say that GH2 was better than 3, I'd have to disagree! granted, I played 3 first and have spent considerably more time on it, however for me GH2 was a bit disappointing in that so many of the songs are covers rather than the original artist - I also like more of the songs on GH3 better, so that's probably a factor as well.

Adam just got GH3 this week so I've been playing that today (I'm only really a nerd at his place, I don't have the equipment ^_^ ) and I like it more than GH2 but not as much as GH1. I knew quite a few of the songs and I really liked the bonus ones :)

oh i liked hg2 a lot more. i thought that gh3 had a weird rythm...like the timing is off on the buttons...they don't quite go with the beat of the song. i'm not sure...there's just something off with the pacing that keeps me from getting into it.

I know, it was a bit difficult at first but then I focused more on the guitar
