yeah it was. we went and saw all those big things like big ben and the tower and westminster and stuff....and now we're about to leave for amsterdam where we will get ridiculous and prance down the street and then pass out in our beds and repeat the process the next day....though in reality we'll probably just prowl the streets looking for an internet cafe and food....mumbling about how expensive everything is.
and BY THE WAY, london is RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. i think i've bankrupted myself.
its awful.
but beautiful. you all have a gorgeous city here. i highly recommend it.

yeah, Britain as a whole is very expensive (hence why it's often called "Rip Off Britain")

A typical pricing strategy would be:
US Product: $100
£ to $ Exchange rate: $1.98 per £1
= UK Price: £100

Actually, some things have been improving in recent years, but it can still be quite bad (Rock Band is good example, $160 in the US, £180 in the UK!)

lol yeah i noticed that. the only place i found that had reasonably priced food was starbucks!!! and i usually think its awfully expensive in the states...so weird.
and every other car was a freaking rolls royce or an aston martin. i've been there before but i don't think i paid much attention to anything. this time i did....probably cuz i was actually paying for stuff myself instead of depending on someone else to take care of it...yeah.
ugh to the max m friends.
