I think that protective panel made of crystal-sapphire is amazing :) I loved it when the crossbow's arrows managed to bend on impact. Anyone up for buying one of these and seeing how far it really can go? Full On Design

no. lol but that was pretty impressive.
but i'd like to know how much something with that crystal-sapphire screen would cost and also the practicality of spending more money on it...since i imagine it would cost more that a normal screen. in short, whats the point?

why does there have to be a point? Well, even if it is stupidly expensive just now, it will come down in price and will eventually be affordable. Of course, the main use might not be at home, but in places where computers are publicly available or prone to unusual levels of wear/damage. but still, it's really cool!

Just googled the panel and £200 seems to be the general price. Couldn't be arsed spending time looking for THE cheapest price for it, but would imagine it would be £10-20 less...
Yeah, it is more expensive than other 20 inch panels, but it isn't THAT much more expensive!!
