Well, aside from either loving or hating specific games, there are those that bring out other more complex emotions.
To start, there have been games that bring out uncontrolable excitement/celebration, that feeling of having to shout out "YEEEESSSSSSS!!!!" at some point, usually while jumping up to your feet with your hands in the air

. A few examples of games that have achieved that:
Final Fantasy VII - Playstation (So many times, the whole opening section... making peace with the Turks, if you did the right subquest....)
Unreal Tournament - PC (winning a game of Insta-gib, Last Man Standing against the computer (and acouple of friends) and the hardest level!)
Eve Online - PC (taking down a HUGE enemy for a massive bounty!)
Gut wrenching despair, the feeling like your whole world has crumbled:
Eve Online - PC (losing you hard earned and newly aquired Cruiser on it's first flight out!!)
Real sadness, feeling a real loss about something:
Final Fantasy VII - Playstation (When Aeris dies at Sephirophs hands to name the most significant occasion)
Max Payne 2 - PC (more so than the first game, felt some real loss when Max finds his woman dead)
Fright - not quite feeling fear, but moments of real fright:
Resident Evil - Playstation (When those damned dogs jump through the window near the start!)
Not a complete list, but just some examples.
