Do you have an experience from any videogaming that caused you to feel the extremes of emotion?
you could post anything be it sweet or sour,or if you could do both that would say more about how you percieve gaming.Please be clear about the title and the console,i give you my contributoins;
LOVED,Zelda Occorina of Time(N64),because of the transition from boy to man thing and the Lone Ranger type relationship with the trusty stallion and the sheer sense of heroic fantasy the game conveyed.
HATED,Summoner(PS2),because i dont want to wander around a frikkin market fair for days on end looking for shabby items to trade, especially when the map dosn`t work properly and you would have to draw your own to stand a chance of remembering WTF YOUVE BEEN.Lazy S.O.B. gamecoder!

Well, aside from either loving or hating specific games, there are those that bring out other more complex emotions.

To start, there have been games that bring out uncontrolable excitement/celebration, that feeling of having to shout out "YEEEESSSSSSS!!!!" at some point, usually while jumping up to your feet with your hands in the air . A few examples of games that have achieved that:
Final Fantasy VII - Playstation (So many times, the whole opening section... making peace with the Turks, if you did the right subquest....)
Unreal Tournament - PC (winning a game of Insta-gib, Last Man Standing against the computer (and acouple of friends) and the hardest level!)
Eve Online - PC (taking down a HUGE enemy for a massive bounty!)

Gut wrenching despair, the feeling like your whole world has crumbled:
Eve Online - PC (losing you hard earned and newly aquired Cruiser on it's first flight out!!)

Real sadness, feeling a real loss about something:
Final Fantasy VII - Playstation (When Aeris dies at Sephirophs hands to name the most significant occasion)
Max Payne 2 - PC (more so than the first game, felt some real loss when Max finds his woman dead)

Fright - not quite feeling fear, but moments of real fright:
Resident Evil - Playstation (When those damned dogs jump through the window near the start!)

Not a complete list, but just some examples.

yeah, I remember the death of Optimus (many times if I recall... his death in the comics was different from his death in the cartoons...). I also remember how cool it was when he finally came back in his new super mode! A Powermaster in the comics I think... can't remember how in the cartoon, though I remember some astronauts saving him before his ship a supernova blew up his ship...

Got a new one

Guilt:
Black and White - PC (after beating my creature to make him evil... the sad look on his face...)

Wow.. what a cool topic to discuss. Ok heres my list:

LOVED My first freefall in GTA San Andreas. Ever since the opening credits for the DMA logo getting run over for the very first GTA, I fell in love with the games. Never did I imagine being able to do everything that you can do in San Andreas, ill still get that warm fuzzy feeling when I run over a policeman to start the chase.

HATED Silent Hill 1 and 2. Not because they were bad games, but rather the fact that they scare the sh*t out of me, even still to this day. That crackly radio gives me the heeby jeebys, and I dont like being scared. (ok so maybes I dont haaate the games, as I dont really buy games that I wouldnt like to play anyways).

there was some dude hidden in a dark room and i had only a little health.i just couldnt get past that part!every time i walked into the room i was blasted to pieces before i could see him!
i had to do the whole area over again and prevent my health loss after that i got the pleasure of blasting the mutant freak with some grenades.
