Game Overview:
This is a 16-bit side-scrolling 2D action/adventure game being developed using the Beats of Rage engine. It's a game about the eternal battle between good and evil. About second chances and the rewards that come from doing the right thing.
The game is intended for teen to mature audiences. It will contain graphic violence and partial nudity.
All characters, level graphics and music are being created from scratch for this game.
Story:
A long time ago God sent Lucifer and his followers to hell for reveling against him. Once in hell they the light in their souls vanished and they turned into hideous creatures called Demons. Lucifer became Satan.
In their desire to get control of the Heaven realm, the demons have started a war. They have created a powerful device (The Sin Collector) that has made them powerful enough to be able to enter the realm of the angels.
Using the Sin Collector, the demon take the holy city of Eterea by surprise and massacre all its inhabitants (Angels). Rael one of the demons invading Eterea is different from the rest. His hart still has a spark of divine light that burst when he sees the massacre of Angels at Eterea turning him into a Demon/Angel hybrid. He is heaven's hope.
Archangel Michael gives him the Sword of light, and promises that his sins will be cleaned and he will be welcomed back in heaven if he defeats the forces of evil.
Now he has the chance to gain redemption by venturing into the Demon Realm to destroy the Sin Collector.
Satan is aware of Rael's intentions and he is expecting him.
The demo is available both for PC and Dreamcast.
