Here's a poem that I wrote randomly during school today.
"Why do you stay here?" she asks Of the one of her dreams The one of the world That's not what it seems He speaks no words Yet she can hear him say "Although I may leave The feeling will stay."
She cries, though unheard She feels her heart stained She knows the words are true The feeling yet remains She asks, "What can I give What price can I pay For you to leave And let not the feeling stay?"
He laughs at her plea He savors her pain There is no price to be paid The feeling will remain She is foolish to believe Foolish to pray That he will leave And the feeling won't stay
She screams in silence She cries in fear She feels in her mind That something stays here She bows her head To quietly say "Why can you not leave And let not the feeling stay?"
The deceit withdraws The answer is clear That something about her Makes the feeling stay here "Even though I hear you And understand what you say I still must leave And the feeling must stay."
"Demon," she speaks "The one of what I fear Listen to what I say Understand what you hear You give me no answer But there must be something to pay To make you leave And let not the feeling stay."
"You don't realize You can't have what you ask for There is only the feeling And nothing more Although you ask There is nothing to pay To make me leave And let not the feeling stay."
She closes her eyes She gives in to the answer She finally knows Why the feeling stays with her He turns away from her There is nothing more to say She watches him leave And knows that the feeling will stay.
