Posting
When making a post, make sure that you are posting in the correct area. i.e. If you need help with the Forum or the site, post in the GENERAL HELP area, if you want assistance with web development or Flash, post in the WEB DEVELOPMENT area.
Be sure to check through previous posts, or use the Search function, for an answer to your question before you ask. This could save you having to wait for someone to reply. If an area has a FAQ, read it first before asking questions.
Be descriptive. If you want help changing your avatar, give a descriptive subject to the post, if someone sees a post with the title "Need help with Avatar" they will be more likely to respond than if the subject is just "Help". This also goes for the content of your post, if you just post "heh?" no one will know what you mean, if you do not understand something, just ask.
Stay on topic. The subject of a thread tells you what the thread discussion is about, stick to the topic and do not post meaningless rubbish or start talking about something compeletely different, this is just fustrating to the people that want to read about the actual Topic. If you want to talk about something else, start a new thread.
Conduct
Use of offensive names or offensive language is not permitted. Remember that while you may not find something offensive, it may still be offensive to someone else, be considerate of other visitors and they should be considerate to you.
Everyone is free to express their opinion, likewise, everyone else is also free to disagree with your opinion. While expression of opinion is fine, it will not be permitted where it is believed that the opinion is being stated in order to cause offense. If in doubt, back up your opinion with facts and reasons.
Personal attacks are not permitted. Even in instances where you are in disagreement with someone else there is not need to get personal about it, as explained above, everyone is free to express their own opinion.
These forums are open to everyone. Promoting or supporting racist or any other extremist antisocial actions is not permitted.
Advertising is not permitted. It is acceptable to have your website listed in the HOMEPAGE part of your Profile and to have a link in your signature. It is not acceptable to post topics advertising other websites, it is even less acceptable from new visitors who have not contributed to these forums at all.
Keep your signature to a reasonable size. The forum pages can get big enough as it is, so having signatures that are bigger than your actual posts is not very user friendly! Generally signatures should be just a few lines or an image.
Post Spamming (also known as Post Whoring) is not a good thing. People do not look at someones Post Rank to see how good they are, people make that judgement from the Quality of your posts, not the quantity.
Reporting
If you come across someone that is breaking the rules, being antisocial or acting in a way that you feel is unsuitable, do NOT post back or attack them. This usually ends up in pages of rubbish that both sides usually regret later. If something is not suitable, report it to a Moderator or Admin by Personal Message and they will deal with it.
