I don't think so as your website and your forum are hosted on different servers (I would assume that they are not local to each other either - i.e. they do not physically sit in the same room or building), also as your forum is hosted by Proboards, it means that while they do all the looking after of the forums, it means that you have restricted access to the code and the database.

On Swoj.com, I control all the code on the site, including the forum code, I also control all the databases involved, so this means that I can easily access the data when and where I need it.

In order to be able to get the kind of control and access that you need, you would have to have a webhost that allows you to use server side scripting (this could be ASP, Coldfusion, PHP or something similar), you might be able to find a host that will give PHP or ASP for free, but most likely you would probably have to pay for hosting in order to get these services.

I have bought hosting now and i have my own forum http://www.chat.stickhunter.co.uk its in php but i still dont know how to get the recent topics thing

You'll need to find out how to access the forum database from your main site.

Or

Add a page to the forum site that just displays the resent topics (like the active topics page) then modify the layout to fit in your main site.
On your main site, use an IFRAME to load that page from your forum section.
